Open Container Ticket
In September of 2004 I was visiting Chris in Newport Beach. We work for the same company but in different offices. After we both experienced a long annoying Friday coupled with the fact that we had not hung out in a while, we decided that we were going to do some drinking that evening. After I fell over two stories off of Chris' balcony and landing on three beach cruiser bicycles we determined that we should walk down to the beach and hit up some bars. Being cocky jerks we walked down the street each armed with an open PBR. We immediately get spotlighted and pulled over, literally throwing distance from Chris' house. By some miracle we only received open container tickets when we clearly should have received public intoxication tickets. In case you are wondering the open container tickets set us each back $160, ouch!
